The most popular commercial roofing product available today is TPO (Thermo Plastic Polyolefin). Why? Because it is cheap. This is a plastic membrane usually measuring 60 mils in thickness. 60 mils = 0.06 inches or approximately twice the thickness of the credit card in your wallet. The plastic tarp you purchase at the hardware store is typically 10 mils = 0.01 inches in thickness. What happens when you leave that tarp in the sun for the summer? Do you feel protected yet?

We use different methods to accomplish your roofs longevity based on a case-by-case situation. Perhaps you have an existing asphalt roof that only experiences problems around drains and roof penetrations but ninety percent of the field is in great shape. Why pay the price to purchase a new roof when you can restore what you have? Perhaps ninety percent of your existing roof is good you only need to waterproof and restore the ten percent that is bad. Long-term material and labor warranties are available with roof restoration applications as well.
